🌟 Celebrate Recovery: Lesson 22 – GRATITUDE 🌟
Join us as Dylan Griffin delivers our teaching tonight.
"Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name." — Psalm 100:4
In recovery, we often spend a lot of time looking at our past hurts and our current struggles. But Lesson 22 reminds us to shift our focus. Gratitude isn't just about saying "thank you" when things go right; it’s a spiritual discipline that changes how we see the world.
When we practice gratitude, we stop focusing on what we lack and start seeing how much God has already provided. It’s the "attitude of gratitude" that keeps us humble, keeps us grounded, and keeps us moving forward one day at a time.
Join us this week as we dive into:
• Generous: Be generous with your gratitude to God and others.
• Real: Be real in your thankfulness; don’t just say the words, but feel them in your heart.
• Available: Make yourself available to serve others as a way of showing your gratitude.
• Trusting: Trust God in all circumstances, even when it’s hard to find something to be thankful for.
• Intentional: Be intentional about looking for things to be grateful for throughout your day.
• Tenacious: Be tenacious in your gratitude; don't let a bad day or a setback rob you of a thankful spirit.
• Understanding: Gain a deeper understanding of God’s grace, which is the ultimate source of our gratitude.
• Dedicated: Stay dedicated to your recovery program and to the "attitude of gratitude."
• Enthusiastic: Be enthusiastic about what God is doing in your life and share that joy with others.
Whether you are celebrating a milestone or just trying to get through the next hour, there is a seat at the table for you. You don’t have to do this alone.
