Two days ago, we lost a devoted supporter, Rose Joynt. For nine years, she played an integral role in the March's success. She served as lead vehicle driver for eight years, provided refreshments, and consistently supported participants at rest stops. Even when illness prevented her from driving the lead vehicle this past year, she continued to donate refreshments and attend the finish line. Although the March will continue annually, it is essential to acknowledge that its existence is largely attributed to her dedication. Her life was characterized by selfless service, and her contributions to our community were invaluable.

View Rosanne Lee Joynt's obituary, contribute to their memorial, see their funeral service details, and more.

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, donated or cheered for this year's marchers!

Despite the weather we had a wonderful day of fellowship and activity. I enjoyed meeting and talking with everyone and hope we all made some new friends.

Extra special thanks to our LEO personnel who came from outside Clark County to participate. It was great seeing you all and we look forward to more opportunities to collaborate in the future.

I'm working on getting the photos uploaded and hope to have them up soon. I'll start a thread for everyone to add the photos they took so we can all share the wealth.

We are still on at this time!

Here's the latest from Weather.com. Looks like any potentially dangerous weather activity will be out of the area prior to 0600 tomorrow morning. The forecast does call for chances of rain so pack accordingly.

Make sure to have a plan for dry feet. Socks, powder, change of shoes/boots... whatever. Make sure you can keep your feet dry. Wet feet + distance = bad day.

If you're on the fence because of the rain I would encourage you to think about the cause. A little rain is an inconvenience wd can deal with compared to those struggling with life and death mental and emotional challenges. Ruck up and step off. That's what we are here to do. To support.

Besides, isn't the story better when it sucked some? You know I'm right. See you there!

All, we are tracking weather developments and watching closely. The intent is to march, rain or shine. Severe weather or lightning will be grounds for cancellation.

We will update with any new news later today. Look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

We hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend. If you're planning to come march with us remember to hydrate between now and Monday! The best place to store water is IN YOU.

If you're not planning to come march you should be! Come on out. It's a great time with great people for a wonderful cause. We would love to see everyone.
