FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

March 7, 2026

Wi******er, KY — The Clark County Fiscal Court has announced the opening of a Request for Proposals (RFP) process for organizations seeking funding through the County’s opioid settlement allocation. The funding is intended to support programs that prevent and address the ongoing impacts of opioid addiction and drug overdose across Clark County.
The goal of the funding opportunity is to serve residents of Clark County through the development, implementation, enhancement, or expansion of evidence-based strategies and promising practices that address the opioid epidemic. Programs focused on prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery services are encouraged to apply.

Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, quasi-governmental entities, local
community-based boards, local recovery advocacy groups, and faith-based organizations.

Funding may support initiatives that address substance use disorders, polysubstance use, and
co-occurring mental health conditions. Priority will be given to programs that serve individuals and communities most profoundly impacted by opioid use disorder and related substance use or mental health challenges.

Applicants must demonstrate the ability to effectively manage grant funds and provide program data showing measurable outcomes, impact, and effectiveness. Indirect costs associated with
funded programs may not exceed 15 percent.

Proposals will be accepted between March 1 and April 30. Funding awards are expected to be announced by June 30.

Organizations interested in applying or seeking additional information may contact the Clark
County Judge Executives office.

Clark County officials encourage qualified organizations and community partners to apply and
help strengthen the county’s response to the opioid crisis.
