Those of you who follow our show know who Delores Hausenfluck is and what she means to our show. Well, Delores stopped by last week with seven more blow mold figurines from Charles' original collection. Years ago he had given these to a little girl in his neighborhood and that "little girl" is now going off to college and was looking for a new home for them. Delores was very happy to get Charles’ collection back together and is looking forward to seeing these pieces in the show this year. So, now we’re trying to figure out how to fit them in and are considering possibly adding a new scene. The song “Grandma got run over by a reindeer” is a bit modern for our show but, hey, this guy just looks guilty.

Good afternoon, Christmas light fans. If you're looking for a good way to set the tone for your Easter holiday, may we suggest you consider attending the cantata at Calvary Covenant Brethren church on Good Friday evening, April 3? Our senior choir has worked very hard to do this meaningful production justice and we think they've done a really good job (in spite of the fact that Don is one of the narrators).

Happy New Year, everyone! We will be running our show through the 12 days of Christmas this year. The shows will continue to run every 15 minutes from 5:30-10:00 PM through Tuesday, January 6. We hope you all have enjoyed it and can get out to see it if you're interested. Blessings, The Cains

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! Just a friendly reminder that due to the annual Whittier Acres luminaries and visit by Santa we will NOT be running our music sequences tonight. Tonight will be lights only! Our regular shows will return tomorrow evening (Christmas Day) at 5:30 PM. We hope everyone gets out to enjoy the luminaries and lights in our neighborhood this evening.
