Today, members of our BRASS family gathered to honor and celebrate the life of Brady McKay.

Brady was a beloved member of the Special Love community and a dedicated BRASS volunteer for many years. Whether he was serving as a counselor, lifeguard, or leading woodworking projects, Brady had a gift for connecting with campers and helping create the memories that make BRASS so special.

The impact Brady had on our community cannot be measured. His kindness, generosity, and quiet dedication touched countless campers, volunteers, and families over the years.

The McKay family has been woven into the fabric of BRASS Camp for decades. Brady's mother, Jodi, has served as our BRASS Camp Director since before Brady was born, and the McKay family has given so much of their time, love, and commitment to the children and families we serve. In many ways, Brady grew up at BRASS, and over the years became an important part of the community his mother helped build.

Today, and in the days ahead, we hold the McKay family close in our hearts. We are grateful for the privilege of knowing Brady and for the many ways he helped shape the BRASS experience for generations of campers.

He will be deeply missed. ❤

Year after year, the IREM Gala brings people together to uplift and support Special Love’s mission.

Over the past 20 years, IREM has raised more than $1.2 million for Special Love — and this year alone, an amazing $100,000! 💛
