2 For 2 Foundation Executive Summary
The 2 for 2 concept came from a local group of mostly retired educators that give volunteer support to community projects.

Our mission is to advance community well-being for all by providing comprehensive education on aquatic, safety, and mental and physical wellness by promoting equity through resources for Water and Ice programs. After reviewing research done by Frederick County Parks and Recreation (FCPR) in addition to the group’s own research in Wi******er City (WC), the top choices from the feedback in both communities were to create swim and ice-skating centers for their kids and their kids’ kids. The 2 for 2 mission is to develop and maintain swim and ice-skating facilities to provide athletic, educational and recreational centers to the community.

Yesterday was the most wonderful day of the year for CFNSVN for many nonprofits in our region. We awarded 61 grants totaling more than $200,000. A big thank you to Clem’s Kitchen at the Wayside Inn in Middletown for hosting our annual Philanthropy Day Luncheon. Such a magical place to thank the donors who support our mission and celebrate local nonprofits doing exceptional work in the NSV.

The 2 for 2 Foundation is grateful to have received a grant from The Power of Change, made possible by voluntary donations from REC members.

With this support, we were able to provide financial support in order for children to have the life-saving skill of learning how to swim and providing them with a lifelong health/wellness tool.
