This week we unveiled Kennedy Fewell’s portrait on our Legacy Volunteers wall, where her story now takes its place among the women who have helped shape Miss Virginia Volunteer. Her year was marked by faith, service, surrender, and the kind of heart that made people feel seen wherever she went.

Kennedy, we are so grateful your story is now part of this wall forever.

Four years ago, Madyson sat in the audience at her very first pageant and thought, “I’m going to be on that stage next year.”
This year, she leaves the stage as Miss Spirit of Virginia 2026 with memories of early mornings, service projects, sister queen road trips, fundraising events, and countless meaningful connections.
Madyson Blizzard, thank you for bringing such joy, gratitude, and heart to this title. We are so proud of the way you served, grew, and represented Miss Virginia Volunteer this year.
Congratulations on a beautiful year, and best wishes as you continue your journey at Liberty University.

We are excited to welcome Chip Brown as the new leader of Miss Virginia Volunteer!

A lifelong Virginian, Chip was born in Wi******er and raised in Fauquier County. He has been part of the pageant community since 2001, bringing more than two decades of experience, leadership, and heart to this role.

Chip served as Executive Director of Miss Arlington for 20 years and as Miss Virginia Judges Chairman for 3 years. Throughout his years of service, he has helped guide 7 Miss Virginia winners, including Caressa Cameron, who went on to become Miss America 2010, along with 2 Outstanding Teen winners.

After six unforgettable years, it’s time for us to say goodbye.

Serving the Miss Virginia Volunteer family has been one of the greatest honors of our lives. We’ve watched young women discover their confidence, find their purpose, and grow into leaders who are changing their communities for the better. Those memories will stay with us forever.

To every contestant, titleholder, local director, volunteer, sponsor, judge, and supporter—thank you. You believed in the mission, gave your time, shared your talents, and became part of something much bigger than a pageant. You became family.

While this chapter comes to a close, the values we’ve shared—service, leadership, integrity, and faith—will continue to guide us wherever God leads next.

Thank you for allowing our family to be part of your journey. We will always be cheering you on.

With grateful hearts,
Vickie, Brian, Christopher, Caitlyn, Chandler Runk, and the R&P Companies Family ❤️

A beautiful beginning to an unforgettable journey. ✨

Day one of Miss Volunteer America was filled with moments I will cherish for a lifetime. From officially checking in and beginning this incredible experience, to proudly representing Virginia during the Parade of States, and sharing sweet conversations and smiles with supporters at our autograph signing at Hub City — my heart is already so full.

This week is about so much more than the crown. It is a celebration of service, sisterhood, purpose, and the remarkable women who have come together from across our nation.

I am beyond honored to represent Virginia and carry the Volunteer Spirit onto this national stage. Here’s to embracing every moment, creating lifelong memories, and making this journey one I’ll never forget.

With gratitude for day one… and excitement for all that is still to come. ❤️🤍💙✨
