Some days, the missing feels a little heavier than others.

Today is one of those days.
We miss Carter every single day—his smile, his humor, his energy, and the way he could fill a room just by being himself. Not a day goes by when we wish we could hear his voice, see his face, or have just one more ordinary day with him.
The Carter 44 Foundation was created because of our love for Carter. Everything we do through this foundation begins with him and will always be rooted in who he was and how much he is loved.
We are incredibly grateful for everyone who support this foundation, and help us honor him.
Today, we simply wanted to say:

CureFest for Childhood Cancer

Did you know? Sarcomas account for approximately 15% of all childhood cancer diagnoses, but research into these rare and complex cancers remains critically underfunded.

July is Sarcoma Awareness Month, an opportunity to raise awareness, amplify the voices of families affected by sarcoma, and advocate for the research needed to develop better treatments.

Today, in honor of Carter’s birthday, we had the privilege of delivering birthday bags for teens at the hospital.
What made this delivery especially meaningful was that a few of Carter’s friends joined us to shop for the gifts. Together, we spent time remembering Carter, sharing stories and choosing items that we hoped would bring comfort and joy to other teens during their hospital stay.
We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to honor Carter’s legacy in this way and hope these birthday bags remind teens going through treatment that they are celebrated, supported, and never alone. 💛💚 .
