🎃🐾 Join us for a Halloween Pet Parade on October 25th at 3 PM!

We’ll kick things off at the Train Depot Station in Winamac and make our way to Dairy Queen, where all the pups will be treated to a delicious pup cup — on us.🍦

We can’t wait to see all the adorable costumes and celebrate Halloween with our four-legged friends! 🧡🐾

Meet Jade, our newest resident! 🐾💚

Jade is an approximately 6 year old shepherd mix weighing around 114 lbs. She’s a sweet girl who gets along with both dogs and cats!

Jade is Lyme and anaplasmosis positive and is currently on medication. She would benefit from losing around 30 lbs, so she’s looking for a family committed to helping her reach a healthier weight through regular exercise and a proper diet.

Her adoption fee is $140. Stop by during business hours or call/text 574-946-0265 to meet Jade!

Zeus is still searching for his family!

Zeus is a sweet boy who loves being by your side whether it’s going for a car ride, exploring somewhere new, or just hanging out. He’s happiest when he gets to be part of the action!

He recently spent some time outside the shelter with Kayla and Tyler and had a blast! He showed off his personality and proved that underneath all that size he’s really just a big baby!💙

Zeus is approximately 2 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and house trained. His adoption fee is $140.

Interested in Zeus? Call or text 574-946-0265 or stop by during business hours!

It was Goldie’s time to shine today! 💗 Kayla and Tyler took her out for a walk at the state park and she did amazing! They said she did great passing other people on the trail and even listened beautifully when asked to heel.

If you’ve met Goldie at the shelter, you know she can be a little energetic and jumpy. But this is such a perfect example of how different shelter dogs can be once they’re out of that environment and given the time and space to decompress. They deserve the chance to show you who they really are.

Goldie is still available for adoption! She’s approximately 1 year old and is looking for her forever home. If you’re interested in meeting her, stop by the shelter or send us a message! 😊

Polly got to go on an adventure today with one of our great volunteers, Kayla, and her husband!

Polly quickly stole their hearts with her sweet and sassy personality! ❤️ At around 6 months old, she’s the perfect age for someone looking for a fun, playful companion to grow up with. Please stop in this week or reach out to us if you may be interested in her!
