Wimberley Texan Athletic Booster Association The WTABA supports all athletic programs at WISD Jr High and HS, carrying on the proud tradition of student athletics in our community.

We are an "all sports" booster association comprised of parents and community members who want to strengthen and continue the proud tradition of student athletics in our community. We host a number of fundraisers throughout the year, including the annual WTABA Golf Tournament, Tailgate with the Texans and home concession stand sales at the football stadium. Our volunteers do all the planning and l

egwork for these events so that our students can have the equipment, uniforms, workout gear and facility improvements they need to maximize their experience as Wimberley Texan athletes.

🔴 COMMUNITY SUPPORT MAKING A TEXAN-SIZED IMPACT 🔴

KWVH proudly recognizes Wimberley ACE Hardware for its continued investment in Wimberley’s student-athletes.

Through a percentage of its Texan gear sales, Wimberley ACE contributed an incredible $22,000 to WTABA, helping the organization donate $85,000 to WISD Athletics during the past school year.

Those funds supported every sport at Wimberley High School and Danforth Junior High through new uniforms, equipment, tournament travel, playoff lodging, charter buses, and other essential program needs.

WTABA also provided $15,000 in student scholarships and helped cover the remaining cost of a fan charter bus to the volleyball state championship game.

This is what happens when local businesses, volunteers, and community members rally behind our students. Thank you to Wimberley ACE Hardware, WTABA, and everyone who continues to invest in the future of Wimberley athletics.

Last week we presented the Wimberley Texans Athletic Booster Association with a check for $22,327.21 from the sales of our Texan gear.

Congratulations to Wimberley Texan Softball's Charlotte Woodward who was named to the UIL State 4A-II All Tournament Team for her performance in the state semifinals. Against eventual state champion Liberty, Charlotte pitched 4 1/3 innings, only allowing three runs as part of a Texan pitching performance that held Liberty to its 2nd-lowest scoring output of their entire postseason.
