Well, THAT was an interesting morning!
Three KWB members tackled a one-mile stretch of roadside this morning, expecting the usual assortment of bottles, cans, and random roadside treasures.

What we didn’t expect? Catheter bags, vodka bottles and enough b**r cans to suggest somebody had a very busy weekend.

Thanks to our KWB crew for getting out there in the heat and cleaning up part of one neighborhood 💚

It was SO HOT, but thanks to the 20 kids that joined KWB at the Wimberley Village Library to spread wildflowers around the parking lot. Hope we see them bloom this coming Spring!!

KWB friends. ❤️ Many of you may have seen the news about the upcoming fundraiser for the new playscape at Martha Knies Community Park. With Martha’s recent passing, this project carries an even deeper meaning for KWB and our community.

To honor Martha’s remarkable legacy and her love for this community, KWB is proud to be the first to kick off the fundraising effort with a $50,000 donation.

If you’re unable to attend the Park event on September 22nd, you can still be part of this special effort. Every donation, no matter the size, is appreciated, and you can also purchase a paver to help support the project and create a lasting tribute.

On September 22nd, join us at Martha’s Park for light bites, drinks, music, and a silent auction as we come together to celebrate Martha’s life and the lasting impact she has had on Wimberley.
We hope you’ll join KWB, the City, and our Parks Department in honoring Martha’s incredible legacy by helping create a beautiful, safe place where children can play, explore, and enjoy the outdoors for generations to come.
