Happy Saturday Furiends! It’s back to work for coach which means 12 hours of me having to be on my best behavior and practicing my office manners as a service dog in training! So far, so good! Ms. Carol…have you told Walker yet that I don’t get to be her Furever companion??

Watching coach act like a fool was the best part of the day!

Coach tells me being confident and strong in holding a “stay” is really important for service dogs in training and service dogs. Today, I practiced a “down stay” with my bestie, Walker, in a very busy and distracting environment. Coach said we were pawfect!

Let’s talk about rest and recovery today!

Rest and recovery is equally important to service dogs and service dogs in training as it is for our coaches and our heroes.

This is how Walker Valor and I prefer to rest and recover when coach/mom is busy at work.

Ms. Carol and Coach teach our first responders that they must become masters of recovery, because that leads to resiliency and longevity in their careers!
