MOTHS AT MCKEON FARM is this Saturday at 8:30pm. It also happens to be Tommy's birthday. This means that Moths at McKeon Farm is going to basically be his birthday bash. A white sheet and a very bright light will be at the center of the decor, and party favors will include live moth mustaches (provided we find some suitable species).

PLEASE register now using the link at the end of this post, or on our upcoming events page! Moths are so cool and Tommy's birthday wish is for you to be fascinated by them.

This event is also part of the Ridgefield Summer Trekking kickoff and CT Trails Day, and so is cosponsored by the Ridgefield Conservation Commission, the Ridgefield Library, , Ridgefield Parks and Recreation, Connecticut Forest & Park Association.

Save the Date for Bats & Tequila this summer! On Saturday, August 26, dive into a one-of-a-kind bat presentation and experience that shines a spotlight on these fascinating creatures and their vital role in our ecosystem. Get up close with a live ambassador bat and discover what makes these nighttime flyers so incredible. To add to the fun, we'll enjoy bites from Southwest Cafe and taste some tequila, which would not be possible without pollination of the agave plant from, you guessed it... BATS!

On Saturday May 30th, roll up your sleeves for a morning of planting native plants in the newly established Welcome Garden at the main entrance to Woodcock! In addition to planting, we will be removing some of the invasive plant species that surround the small parking lot at the entrance. Stay for as long or short as you are able. Please wear comfortable outdoor clothing appropriate for gardening and trail work, including long pants, closed-toe shoes or boots, and layers - dress to get dirty! πŸ›πŸŒΈπŸŒΌ
