We would like to take a moment during this upcoming heat wave to thank past and present club board members.
Names like:
Chris Krol
Charlene Krol
Al Williams
Diana Nadeau
Laurie (and Ed) Mignault

Many of these names have spent countless years keeping the club going in the right direction while maintaining about 100 miles of trails.

We have some new leadership stepping up to the plate now with Jon Lavoie and Geoff Allen, but we need more interested people to step forward and help out however they can. Maybe you're reading this and you're interested in doing just a little more to ensure you and your neighbors have a place to ride every season? Reach out to us and try to meet up at one of our monthly meetings which will begin again in September. It's our plan to start holding meetings at The Kettle on Main St.
We'll be sure to post the details as we get closer to winter.

Thank you all, especially our land owners for keeping the trails alive in Wilton and Lyndeborough!

A milestone! 50 years as a club in good standing with NHSA. 🍾

Who wants to help us start our next 50?
The club is going to be introducing some new leadership for next season. We're looking for fresh board members and a treasurer in training. Laurie is looking for an apprentice so she can "retire" from the club.

We are so very grateful for the landowners and residents that support our club through funds, volunteering, and allowing us to use their private land for snowmobiling, horseback riding, hiking, and the many other hobbies we support. Because of this, we feel obligated to return that support to the community whenever we are able. One way we do this is through an annual scholarship for college-bound students.

Each year seniors from Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative High School submit essays to us about "How the outdoors has influenced my life". We're always amazed at how great they are, and choosing the annual recipient of our scholarship is never easy. This year we are pleased to announce Taylor Cole as our scholarship recipient.

Congratulations Taylor, and thank you to the community that makes this happen.

Hello Winter Wanderers!
We're exploring the idea of putting together a 2027 Calendar to sell starting in October of 2026. We would like those who have ridden our trails in the Wilton/Lyndeborough area to send in pictures. This would be a Tri-Club effort to bring in some revenue for all three clubs. Would there be any interest in this?
All clubs have had our equipment break down during this season, and with NHSA putting the maps online, our Tri-Club map doesn't really bring in the extra money we need.
We could use this calendar revenue to put towards maintaining our equipment. The pictures in the calendar would be from your riding experience this season. Icebreakers, NorEaster's, and WLWW.

For our friends who like to travel in and out to the Purgatory Falls area of Mt. Vernon.
Dan Holt has asked us to utilize the old Apple Orchard route (green) instead of traveling by the new pond that he made, (Red).
There are two reasons:
1. There are no plowed roads on this green route.
2. There are no fences or electric fences along the green route.

We opened the chain to cross the road at the green portion of Center Rd. and did our best to sign the trail through the woods. It's actually much nicer going this way than down the plowed road across from the new pond.

Please use the green route moving forward and refrain from using the old red route.

Dan just doesn't want anyone to hurt themselves on the electric fencing near his pig enclosure or do any damage to the fencing. It's a very fair ask and a better snow covered route in general.

Go register your sleds.
Ride while the riding is good.
