Our FIRST Lego League team, the Squires of Katahdin, competed yesterday in the Maine State Championship held at Mt. Blue High School. The Squires, a team of eight students aged 5th – 8th grade, have worked together alongside Head Coach Monica Allen and Assistant Coach Leah O’Brien, preparing to present their project to judges and showcase their robots during competition.

Thirty-four talented teams arrived to compete, and we’re so proud to share the Squires’ earned THIRD place! Preparing for competition is an enormous effort for students, their families, and certainly coaches – a huge THANK YOU to this group for an awesome show of dedication. CONGRATS SQUIRES on this achievement!

Manufacturing is a huge part of our FRC competition season, utilizing our Haas VF-4 CNC mill requires not only skilled mentors and students to operate proficiently, but….. lots and lots of WATER!
