🎂 It’s a Riverbrook YMCA Summer Camps Birthday! A very happy birthday to our wonderful Specialist & Marketing Director, Maddi! We are so incredibly grateful for everything you bring to all 3 of our camps! Your happy, energetic spirit is felt everywhere, whether you are jumping in to help any where that is needed, creating new ideas for our huge camp events, or leading a team of amazing specialists to deliver our most exciting activities! The care and research you put into planning those activities, and the guidance you provide on how they run, truly makes a difference in the camp experience! The photos capture the joy and unforgettable memories at camp, giving parents a window into how much fun their kiddos are actually having at camp! We’re also grateful of how informed you keep the parents by using SportsYou! As a long time Red Team General, you are a pillar of the color teams and a shining example of what color pride looks like. 🧁 It’s a Riverbrook YMCA Camp Birthday to our incredible Membership Director and one of our esteemed judges, Molly Blosser! Today we celebrate not only you, but the immeasurable impact you have on the entire Camp community. Your dedication to our campers and staff shines through in everything you do; from taking the time to train and mentor our team in new leadership roles to always being that open ear for anyone in need of advice or a few words of wisdom. Your energy and presence can command an entire field of hundreds, and people are always happy to follow your lead. We are so grateful for your passion, guidance, and unwavering support, and we are truly lucky to have you as such an important part of our camp family. Happy Camp Birthday, Molly! ☀️ 🐊

Today our Camp Family has lost one of the absolute greats.

It is with deep sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our colleague and friend, Jake Seco.

Jake was an exceptional person whose positivity, kindness, and dedication made a lasting impact on everyone he worked with. He brought energy and heart and that amazing smile into our YMCA community every single day, and his presence touched staff, members, and families alike. Jake wasn’t just part of our team; he was part of our YMCA family.

This loss is felt profoundly throughout our organization. Jake will be remembered not only for the incredible work he did, but for the warmth, compassion, and genuine care he showed to everyone around him. He kept campers safe and happy on the ropes course, and someone they could look up to in his silly ways. He will be truly missed.

He was the all star quarterback in our Camp Football games for a few years now. And always had an amazing way of making you feel good about yourself and about life.

We know this news may be difficult, and we encourage you to lean on one another for support. In the coming days, we will share information about any memorial arrangements and ways to honor Jake’s memory.

Please keep Jake’s family and close friends in your thoughts during this incredibly difficult time. We love you Jake and we will miss you very much so. 💚💛

🎂 It’s a Riverbrook YMCA Camp birthday!!! Today we get to celebrate Kimberly, our Incredible assistant camp Director and honestly we’re not sure where we’d be without her! She’s the queen of preparation and planning, the mastermind behind organization and she’s the steady force that keeps every big Camp Special Events running smoothly! Whether she’s working behind the scenes or stepping out front when needed, she’s always ready with a helpful hand, for the kids, for the staff, or at the check-in table. She’s the master of payroll, keeping everything on track with her signature, calm and competence. We’re hoping her day is filled with magic, joy, and all the happiness she truly deserves! Happy birthday, Kimberly! 🎉🐊☀️

🧁 It’s a Riverbrook YMCA Camp birthday! Today we’re celebrating Sam, our fearless Chief Operations Officer at the YMCA. Sam somehow manages to juggle helping camp in the summer and in the off season, year-round operations, and leadership across all of our program areas. She does it all with heart and dedication! We are so lucky to have her join us as a judge for Color Games, participate in dress-up days, and always show up for what matters most: the campers, the staff, and the parents. Thank you, Sam, for being such an incredible leader to us all. Happy Birthday! 🎉🎂 🐊 ☀️

🎂 It’s a Race4Chase belated birthday! Wishing the happiest birthday to Deb, our Incredible Camp Race4Chase First Aid Director! We are endlessly grateful that she loves Camp enough to return year after year, always ready with a bandage,an ice pack and the perfect dose of kindness for any kiddo or staff member who takes a tumble. Her calm care and big heart makes Camp a safer, brighter and so much more special place. Thank you, Deb, we hope your birthday was as wonderful as you are! 🩹 😊 🚲
