Ever wonder how Art Gallery 21 came to be?

Back in 2011, a small group of artists took to hanging art in Wilton Manors City Hall and the building was open on the night of art walk so passersby could see the art and meet the artists. Second from the right is our Fearless Leader, Robert "Bob" Gross, who inspired us to go on to create Art Gallery 21. Bob left us not too long ago, but his presence continues to influence what we do. Thanks to those early artists for believing we could do it! And, so we continue...

Thanks to the Broward Arts Calendar for posting our upcoming exhibit! 😊

With funding from Broward County Cultural Division and Gallery supporters, Art Gallery 21 presents an art exhibit to honor the late City of Wilton Manors Mayor, Justin Flippen ~ “Mermaids & Manatees: The Art of Sirens and Sea Cows.”

Three manatee statutes being created especially for this exhibition will be placed in public parks once the exhibit closes. The exhibit will be unveiled on Saturday, February 6th at 6 PM and the gallery will be open free to the public on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 12 Noon to 6 PM through March 6th.
