I just have to say this: are people actually paying attention to what is happening with the Florida Leather Boy contest?

From the outside, it raises serious questions about conflicts of interest and the integrity of the process. One of the judges involved in evaluating the contestants are individuals who conspired with one of the Boy contestants and they previously participated in efforts that I believe contributed to undermining my ILSB run. Seeing those same individuals now sitting in judgment of contestants creates the appearance of bias, whether intentional or not.

The issue is not simply about one contestant. It is about whether every contestant is being given a fair and impartial opportunity to compete. When judges have prior involvement, relationships, or histories connected to candidates or related controversies, it naturally leads people to question the objectivity of the process.

This is exactly why so many people lose confidence in contests. Fairness is not only about being fair—it is about being seen as fair. If participants or observers believe there are conflicts of interest, the credibility of the entire contest suffers.

Every contestant deserves to walk through the door on equal footing, judged solely on their performance, qualifications, and character—not carrying the weight of prior politics, personal relationships, or past disputes.

When individuals are rewarded rather than held accountable for public call-outs, mob mentality, social media campaigns, and cancel-culture tactics, the damage extends far beyond the person being targeted.

Communities are not strengthened when accusations become verdicts, when popularity replaces due process, or when public pressure substitutes for investigation. They are weakened. Trust erodes. Honest dialogue disappears. People become afraid to speak, mentor, lead, or participate for fear of becoming the next target.

Accountability should apply to everyone—not only to those accused, but also to those who weaponize social media, encourage dog-piling, spread unverified claims, or seek to destroy reputations without evidence, context, or proper process.

What concerns me most is that some individuals repeatedly use these tactics to gain sympathy, influence opinion, and position themselves as victims while avoiding scrutiny of their own actions. Too often, third-party information, rumors, allegations, and personal interpretations are presented as established fact. Those claims are then used to organize public call-outs rather than private conversations, mediation, investigation, or any form of due process.

No community is protected when opinions are treated as facts. No one is made safer when allegations alone become sufficient to condemn another person. Justice requires evidence, fairness, accountability, and a willingness to examine all sides of a situation—not merely the most popular narrative.

This pattern is not isolated. It is occurring across many of our communities. Individuals who have participated in public smear campaigns, encouraged online pile-ons, or helped cultivate environments of hostility often face no accountability for their actions. In some cases, they are rewarded with positions of influence, allowed to compete for titles, sit in judgment of others, and hold themselves out as community leaders.

A healthy community rewards integrity, fairness, mediation, truth-seeking, and accountability for all. An unhealthy community rewards outrage, rumor, public spectacle, and the ability to gather the largest crowd.

If we fail to hold all parties accountable, we are not building justice. We are simply empowering those who have become most effective at manipulating perception.

Warning about business that will take your money and not provide your merchandise. I can provide you with screen shots of the conversation with this business. It has been 8 months now since I gave this business money. They only sent me half my order and the half they sent did not have the correct measurements. They were supposed to have this to me by October. I believe they took my money and used the bulk of it for their own purposes and now can't supply my order. I warn every person to not buy from this company. Now they have completely shut down conversation and when they do conversation they blame me for everything. So please DO NOT ORDER FTOM THEM!!!

I learned some really HOT TOPIC points in my psychology group today. They spoke to the heart of one of the things I have been accused of:

They discussed Straw Man Argument

This is a really big one.

They change what you actually SAY into something easier FOR THEM to attack.

Let me give you an example based on my own experience:

ME: “I do not understand that organization’s policy.” - ACCOUNTABILITY

THEM: “So you’re calling my organization racist.”

You never said that — they built a fake version of your argument and then responded to that instead.

The leader of the group said that is textbook straw manning.

Plain language:
They argued against something you didn’t claim.

This then typically leads to some kind of Defensive Deflection that they carry out to assassinate a persons character:

When people feel uncomfortable with criticism, they redirect it into a character attack.

Instead of engaging your point, they shift to:

“You’re calling us racist.”

It moves the focus from the issue to you.

That’s then called avoidance.

So I love education and thats why it empowers you.

So based on this group learning today I had to re-evaluate what I was saying about this individual calling me racist?

They were Not directly calling me racist— but they are doing something adjacent:

They’re implying you made a racist accusation in order to discredit you.

It’s a rhetorical move, not an honest interpretation of the events that unfolded!

So as I have maintained I didn’t “call them or anyone racist.”

They reframed my critique into an accusation because it’s easier to attack.

That’s straw man + false attribution — and it’s a classic derailment tactic!

BOOM: Mic Dropped!

The past year closed with lessons I did not seek, but will not ignore.
Leadership is measured not in moments of comfort, but in how power is exercised under pressure and how others chose to misuse theirs.

I move forward grounded in principle, aware that actions leave echoes long after titles and contests fade.

This year reminded me that withdrawal does not equal defeat, and silence does not equal consent.

I remain accountable to my values, my own conduct, and my lineage—regardless of how others chose to act.

The work continues. The record remains.
