About SMYP
The goal of South Metro Young Professionals (SMYP) is to bring together like-minded professionals in the 20-40 age demographics for opportunities in networking, mentorship and educational learning. For 2019, the group is sponsored by the Wilsonville Chamber of Commerce.
As a multi-community platform, we support the business and career development of young professionals in the Portland (OR) South metro region. Participating communities include Wilsonville, Lake Oswego, Canby, Sherwood, Tigard, Tualatin, Oregon City, and West Linn.
SMYP meets once a month in various locations throughout the participating communities. Each event provides an opportunity to network with other young professionals, learn about the local business sponsoring the event and listen to a speaker on an educational topic. Events generally last two hours and are free.
