Wilson's Mills Athletic Association WMAA is a non-profit organization offering youth athletic programs in the Wilson's Mills area

WMAA was formed in July 2011 by parents desiring to have sports offered locally for their children. We are staffed by parents and volunteers who strive to create a safe environment where youth can learn and play various sports while still having fun.

Well, the holidays are behind us now which means it's time for basketball practice to start up again. We're also starting a Fun & Fitness 35+ men's team on Tuesday evenings from 8-9 1/2 at the WMES gym. Cost is only $25. This is Adult Only time so please make sure and leave the kiddos at home. Thank you for supporting WMAA. Happy New Year!

ATTENTION: All games scheduled for Saturday, 12.10, have been cancelled due to scheduling conflicts. Your child's coach should be in touch with you by this evening regarding a practice schedule.

SPREAD THE NEWS: WMAA will be hosting a LIVE sign-up at the Wilson's Mills Elementary School gym this Saturday, 11.05, from 9a-10a for all those who've not yet had a chance to register. And FYI, basketball is open to both boys AND girls! Practice has been pushed back until after the live sign-up to give everyone a chance to start together. We'll keep you posted!

Let's get the word out to the community that there is an affordable sports option for youth in the Wilson's Mills area. It doesn't matter if you live in town limits or not; the program fee remains the same. Share this on your wall to promote WMAA and let people know there's still time to sign up for basketball and cheerleading.

For anyone who would like to volunteer with WMAA, please contact us via Facebook or e'mail and we can send you the application and background check information. From scoreboards to concessions, assistant coaches to fundraising, we can always use an extra pair of hands. Remember, it's all about the kids. :)

Don't forget, sign-ups are coming to a close. Deadline to get your child's registration in is Friday, November 4th. Practice will begin Saturday, November 5th.
