Hi Facebook Family,
Today I'm coming to you with transparency, truth, and a sincere request.
The reason I started A Hope of Faith is because I saw so many individuals and families who desperately needed help but didn't qualify for government-funded assistance. I couldn't ignore the need, so I stepped out on faith to help fill that gap in our community.
Since opening our doors on November 1, 2025, the need has been overwhelming. Every single day, our office receives calls from people facing eviction, utility disconnections, food insecurity, homelessness, and mental health challenges. We are also blessed to receive referrals from wonderful community organizations that have already done everything they can to help, including Wilson County Department of Social Services (WCDSS), United Way, Wilson Crisis Center, and The Hope Station. When their resources have been exhausted or a family does not qualify for assistance, they often refer them to A Hope of Faith.
While we thank God for the churches and supporters who have partnered with us, the demand continues to grow faster than our available resources.
As many of you know, new nonprofits have limited access to many grant opportunities during their first two years. That means we rely heavily on the generosity of individuals, churches, businesses, and community partners.
Today alone, I received calls from two single mothers that broke my heart.
One mother recently started a new job but is facing eviction on the 15th. She has a 2-year-old child and no family nearby to help.
The second mother has a 4-year-old child and is now homeless after being forced out of her home because the person serving as her payee is withholding her money.
These are not just stories—they are real people in our community who need hope.
If God places it on your heart, I am asking you to partner with A Hope of Faith by making a monetary donation. Every dollar makes a difference and goes directly toward helping families in crisis.

Before founding A Hope of Faith, I served as the Faith Connections Coordinator with Wilson County Department of Social Services, where I worked to connect families with emergency assistance. Today, I continue that same mission through this nonprofit, serving those who often have nowhere else to turn.
If you would like more information about our work or how you can partner with us, please send me a message. I would be happy to share more about the impact your support can make.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, for your prayers, and for any support you can provide. Together, we can continue bringing hope to families when they need it most.
Please consider donating, sharing this post, and keeping these families in your prayers. Together, we can be the hope someone has been praying for. ❤️
