The Wilson Cooperative Club was organized in 1914. Miss Bessie Murphy of Memphis, a noted home demonstrator from the Mid-South came up weekly and led the group in various Home Arts, a great stimulus in sewing, cooking, and interior decoration. The first year book was printed in 1916.

The Wilson Cooperative Club celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in true fashion at the March meeting! The ladies conducted business while enjoying delicious deserts provided by the hostesses. 🦞👑 She’s back! 👑🦞

After having to cancel last year, the Wilson Cooperative Club’s Miss Crawfish Pageant is returning for 2026! April 11, 2026 - 11:00 am in the Wilson Theater!

We can’t wait to celebrate our contestants and crown the next Miss Crawfish. Mark your calendars and come support these amazing young ladies! 🏆

If the festival is rescheduled due to weather, the pageant will be moved to the day of the festival. If the Wilson Theater is rented for the day the festival is rescheduled, we will move the pageant to the Wilson Cooperative Clubhouse or will be on the music stage at the festival. Contestants will be notified of the changes and instructions will be given as soon as possible.

🎄 IT’S TTIIMMEE 🎄

The Wilson Cooperative Club will be judging our annual Christmas light contest THIS FRIDAY following the Wilson Christmas Parade! So get those decorations up!! We’ve been hearing the chatter all around town about the different decor on each street and we couldn’t be more excited to see it! We look forward to seeing all your displays!

The Wilson Cooperative Club will be hosting a community chili supper on Friday, November 21st from 5-7:00pm at the Wilson Fire Department! Tickets are $10 per person. Bring a canned food or packaged item to receive a free dessert! All food donatons will be given to a local food pantry or our school backpack program! All proceeds raised from this event will benefit our annual scholarship fund! See any cooperative club member to purchase tickets!

We had a spooktacular start to our first meeting back in session! The club enjoyed delicious deserts provided by our hostesses, Sherri Adams and Amy Hunter! We also welcomed a guest, Alex Conley! Our group enjoyed wonderful fellowship while the plans fell into place for the upcoming seasons! Be on the lookout for what’s to come!
