Last but not least! Fike High School Awards Day was the last of 5 special days where WEP got to honor some amazing students with scholarships. 🌟 Grantee Spotlight: Wilson Education Partnership

Our CAREs Flexible Funding is a quarterly grant opportunity that allows our nonprofit partners to apply for support that strengthens their day-to-day operations.

Wilson Education Partnership, a 2025 CARES recipient, invested its funding in a website redesign and a professional development initiative. The updated site provides a more user-friendly experience, improving students’ ability to navigate and access resources.

Robin Williams, WEP’s Executive Director, also completed the 2025–2026 NC Education Public Policy Fellowship, a year-long program focused on education policy, leadership, and advocacy.

We’re proud to support organizations like Wilson Education Partnership that continue to strengthen and serve our community.

Wow! Today was our last Communicating with Confidence mock interview day for 2025-2026! Thank you Hunt HS students, teachers and volunteers for a great send off for the school year! Great connections have been made and strengths were showcased! We look forward to the next school year with our HS Junior English students.
