Due to the high chance of rain, National Night Out is postponed to our schedule rain date on Friday, August 7.

🌡️ Dangerous heat is forecast Thursday and Friday. A Heat Advisory is in place for portions of central NC from 11AM to 8PM tonight.

⛈️ Severe thunderstorms are possible in northern areas on Thursday before spreading across western and central NC on Friday.

🏠 Limit outdoor exposure and stay indoors if possible.
🥤 Drink plenty of water.
👕 Wear lightweight, loose-fitting clothing.

Today, the Wilson County Rescue Squad honors and remembers the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
As we gather with family and friends, let us take a moment to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of our fallen heroes. We are forever grateful for their service and the sacrifices made by military families across our nation.

Wilson County Rescue Squad would like to express how much we have enjoyed being a sponsor and community partner for the “Big Wheels on the Field” event benefiting RC3 and Safe Kids of Wilson County.
It has been a privilege to support an event that brings families, children, and community organizations together while promoting safety, education, and positive community engagement throughout Wilson County. Seeing the smiles, excitement, and participation from the children and families made the event truly rewarding for our organization.
Wilson County Rescue Squad values opportunities to partner with organizations that make a meaningful impact in our community, and we are proud to have been a part of such a successful and worthwhile event. We appreciate the hard work and dedication that went into organizing the program and look forward to supporting future community initiatives.
