📣 CALLING ALL WRITERS AND GRIZZLY BEAR ENTHUSIANTS! 📣

Grizzly bears are at risk of losing their protections under the Endangered Species Act, potentially as soon as this year. When decisions like this are made, the human connection to wildlife is often left out of the conversation.

Have you ever witnessed a grizzly bear in the wild, or felt changed by simply sharing space with one?

Wyoming Wildlife Advocates is currently accepting submissions for a nonfiction literary anthology focused on grizzly bears. We are seeking short stories, poems, and essays that explore moments of observation, coexistence, and connection with grizzlies.

This anthology will bring together voices from across the country to reflect on why grizzly bears matter, not just ecologically, but personally. If you have a story to tell, we hope you will consider submitting. If your submission is selected, your piece will be printed in a book.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated in honor of our late Queen 399. All these new trash cans will lower human-bear conflict and help her cub have a chance at living a wild life eating natural food sources. To date we have put out at least 1,300 trash cans across the county and in Teton Valley!
