🌾 In 2008, The Wilderness Center opened the first nature preserve cemetery in Ohio, Foxfield Preserve. Foxfield remains as one of a handful of conservation cemeteries in the country today.

🌾 You may have seen, or even had, recent conversations around the possibility for new legislation in Ohio that could legalize natural organic reduction, also known as human composting.

🌾 At Foxfield Preserve, we held our first burial with composted remains last year.
