We’re so excited to be opening our first public-use trail in nearly 50 years! But first- we need your help building it! ⚒️🌳💪

⚒️ Get a hands-on, unique experience helping build the brand new trail at our Belknap Woods preserve. We’ll be there working next Friday, June 12th and every other Friday after through September from 2-5 pm. No experience is necessary and we will provide all tools and equipment.

🌳 Come be a part of this historic moment as we show common trail building and clearing techniques. The project will gradually transition from clearing the path to construction.

💪 Ready to make a difference? Sign up to volunteer with us at https://secure.wildernesscenter.org/forms/volunteer-1?opportunityId=53.

🦎 Pictured are a couple of Northern slimy salamanders found earlier this week by students on a school field trip to TWC.

🦎 Learn all about them on our blog at https://www.wildernesscenter.org/wildlife-wednesday-06-03-2026.
