Today was all about creativity, connection, and recovery! 🎨💜

We had the privilege of spending time painting with the amazing women of Sobriety Sisters.

There’s something pretty special about sitting around a table, picking up a paintbrush, laughing, creating, and simply enjoying the moment together.

At The Iora Foundation, we believe recovery is about so much more than staying sober. It’s about healing from addiction and trauma, building healthy connections, discovering new ways to cope, and learning to enjoy life again. 🦋

Today, we painted more than canvases—we created memories, connections, and a little more joy along the way. 💜🩵

Thank you, Sobriety Sisters, for letting us be part of your day! We can’t wait to do it again. 🎨🌸

Here's an idea of what light yoga we'll be doing Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Eastwood Park! Nothing to heavy. We'll do some light Meditation and then eat lunch together!

Deep breathing (1 minute)
Neck rolls
Shoulder rolls
Arm stretches overhead
Gentle side stretches
Seated or standing forward fold
Gentle spinal twist
Ankle circles
Finish with three slow, deep breaths

💜 Exciting things are happening at The Iora Foundation! 💜

We're grateful for all the encouragement and support we've received as we begin building a community where women in addiction and trauma recovery can experience creativity, connection, and healthy fun in sobriety.

Here's what's coming up:
🎨 We'll be leading another canvas painting experience at the upcoming Sobriety Sisters Retreat.

🌸 We're planning our next Dayton Sober Women's Meetup this September and December, with hopes of hosting events in both Dayton and Greene County so even more women can connect and build healthy friendships in recovery.

🎪 You'll also find us at upcoming recovery rallies, where we'll be introducing The Iora Foundation and sharing our mission with the community.
