We have a few guidelines to keep things fun and friendly in our social media space. It is important to the North Carolina Azalea Festival that guests have a forum to provide feedback as we take your feedback very seriously. To ensure the best experience for all of our guests, we have some guidelines that we ask that you follow.

• Never post private or personal information about yourself or others;

• No attacks on individuals or groups based on race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity or other classification;

• No commercial product promotions, political campaign promotions, or off-topic messages;

• No false claims of affiliation with any third party;

• No posting of copyright or trademark infringing material or any material that could result in infringement of any third-party intellectual property or privacy or publicity rights

Failure to abide by the above guidelines, or posting of spam, false, fraudulent, or misleading information that does not adhere to Facebook Terms of Service is subject to removal and/or reporting by the Page Administrator. If an individual’s disruptive behavior persists, then we may be forced to block that user from participating on the Festival’s social media pages. 🌸 Welcome to the North Carolina Azalea Festival Board of Directors, Charlie Mattox! 🌸

The North Carolina Azalea Festival is proud to announce the appointment of Charlie Mattox to its Board of Directors.

A respected leader in the Wilmington community, Charlie brings extensive experience in finance, a passion for service, and a commitment to collaboration and continued growth. His leadership will help strengthen the Festival’s mission of preserving tradition while creating new opportunities for the future.

“We are excited to welcome Charlie Mattox to our Board of Directors and look forward to the perspective, energy, and vision he will bring as we continue to shape the future of this cherished tradition,” said Melissa Lasarsky, Executive Director of the North Carolina Azalea Festival.

Charlie shared, “As someone who has long admired the Festival’s ability to bring people together, I am honored to join the Board of Directors. I look forward to working alongside this incredible team to help ensure the Festival continues to bloom for generations to come.”

Our team will still be hard at work behind the scenes Monday through Thursday as we gear up for another amazing Festival season! 🎉
