4 years ago today, Oakley received the greatest gift… a bone marrow transplant from a stranger who changed our world forever and gave us countless more beautiful moments with her.

We celebrate you today, every day, and all 1,460 days since you were given your second chance at life. ❤️

Never in a million years did we imagine Mimosas for Marrow growing into what it is today — all because of you. The emotions before, during, and after this event can reopen wounds, but somehow help heal them too.

Hi all!

We’ll have photos and footage from the Mimosas for Marrow 5K coming soon! Our phenomenal photographer, Lina, captured so many amazing moments, and we can’t wait to share them with you. Chris, our videographer, is also putting together another meaningful video, and Daniel, who many of you may have seen flying the drones around, captured some incredible aerial footage as well.

1,058 participants at the Mimosas for Marrow 5K this year.

There was a time during Oakley’s journey when I felt nothing but anger, sadness, and loneliness. It felt like no one could possibly understand the pain we were carrying.

But this community has shown me otherwise. So many families know this fight in their own way. And because of all of you, no one has to feel alone.
