💦 The flowers in the Reflecting Pool are quite beautiful at the moment!

🤲Liz the Garden Manager & Ken, one of Gibraltar’s amazing volunteers, worked together today to capture these images.

🛟As Liz waded in the water to clip excess foliage and take closeup photos, Ken was on safety watch, also taking away the debris and handing the clippers and phone over.

⭐️ Rescue Mission Accomplished!

🐥We watched this baby bird approach the edge of the Reflecting Pool little by little, curious about what it saw. Despite our warnings, and those of its parents, it jumped right into the water.

💦 Thankfully we were there at just the right time, and able to rescue it using a nearby skimmer. Checking back about a half hour later, the baby bird must’ve been brought back to its nest.

🪷 Bonus pictures of beautiful aquatic flowers!!
