Cape Fear ArtXchange is looking for donations of clean paper shopping bags.

We use donated bags every day to help visitors carry home creative treasures, art supplies, fabric, yarn, and more. Reusing bags helps us reduce waste, save money, and keep materials in circulation.

If you have extra paper bags collecting dust at home or your business has a surplus, we'd love to give them a second life! Please drop them off at 4410 Wrightsville Ave during open hours. Monday 11-5, Thursday 11-8, Friday 11-5, Saturday 10-4, and Sunday 12-4.

Cape Fear ArtXchange is seeking a Community Art Space & Donation Center Operations Manager to help lead and grow our creative reuse mission.

This role will oversee daily operations connected to donated materials, volunteer coordination, organization systems, and our growing community creative spaces. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about creativity, sustainability, and community-building.

As CFAX continues to expand, this manager will play a key role in helping keep usable creative materials out of the landfill while supporting artists, educators, students, and makers across the Cape Fear region.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Comfortable managing operations and volunteers
• Passionate about creative reuse and sustainability
• Friendly, adaptable, and community-oriented
