My name is Nicholas Newell founder and president of Saint Nicholas Christmas Foundation. Thank you for taking the time to browse our page. I just wanted to take a moment to explain who we are and what we do and why we hope you will donate to our cause! Saint Nicholas Christmas Foundation is a 501c3 non profit organization registered with the IRS and the North

Carolina Secretary of state. As of Nov 2019 we are in our 6th year of operation. Born on December 25th, and with a name like Nicholas it’s hard not to be charitable and giving. Especially around the holidays. My mother always instilled in me that those with the ability to help others should. And so SNCF was born. Currently we raise money for two main initiatives. St.Nick’s Teddy Bear Drive and Santa’s Wish List. St.Nick’s Teddy Bear Drive raises money to purchase stuffed animals. which are donated to a myriad of places. These include children’s hospitals and local first responders to have on hand for incidents involving children. A portion of the proceeds are also donated in the form of a cash donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. The bears cost us about $7 each and we usually ask for a $15 dollar donation per bear so we can donate half to St. We generally raise around $3,000 each holiday season for this. Santa’s Wish List started in 2018 with a goal of helping assisted living facility residents who no longer have living family members or in some case income. Every year in November area assisted living facilities provide Christmas present lists from their residents. Those lists are then published online, magazines, newspapers etc. Names are redacted for privacy and instead a number is attached to each list. Those wishing to donate can call and verify that the particular present they want to buy hasn't already been purchased. They could then buy the present and drop it off at one of the many collection points. Those wishing to donate can also donate cash and we can select presents to purchase. In 2018 nearly 170 residents received 3-5gifts each with an estimated $5,000 in total value. Looking ahead to the future we hope to add silents auctions, fun runs and more as a source of generating donations and garnering more community involvement and support. Christmas 2025 🎅🏻 this just might be the best one yet. Hundreds upon hundreds benefited from your generosity. A population often forgotten but not today. Thank you to each and everyone of you who shopped, donated, volunteered, spread the word, told our story. Getting to play Santa is the very best part of my birthday. Our teddy bear drive is our longest running fundraiser. First donating to in 2016, were back again this year. Just over 100 NC native black bear teddys were dropped off today ready to keep the kids company.
