Thank you for showing us what is possible, Vice President Kamala Harris.

Your journey, as the first Black woman and the first woman of color to earn the nomination of a major party for President, ignited hope for millions across this country. Thank you for reminding little Black girls with big dreams and Black women who’ve been told to wait their turn how high they can soar.

You are undeniable proof of what we have always known: Black women are more than qualified, more than enough, and more than ready to lead.

We remember and honor the musical legend Quincy Jones, who passed away at age 91. He was a mogul, a musical genius, and a visionary who produced some of the biggest albums of all time. He was nominated for 80 Grammys and won 28 throughout his career which spanned more than seven decades. He worked with everyone from Frank Sinatra to Michael Jackson and left a legacy that will continue to impact music for generations.
