Urgent Call for Volunteers: "Fall Down To Cook" Sous Chef Class

We need your help! Coastal BUDS is putting out an urgent call for volunteers for our Thursday evening "Fall Down To Cook" Sous Chef Class.

When: Thursdays, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM, for 5 consecutive weeks, beginning Thursday, October 22
Where: Weezie's Colorful Kitchen, 4107 Oleander Dr

Our sous chefs are excited to get cooking, and volunteers make the whole experience possible. Volunteers will help participants at their stations, keep the class running smoothly, and cheer on every new skill learned. No cooking experience is required. All you need is a positive attitude and a willingness to jump in.

Our ask: Because the class builds week to week and our sous chefs love seeing familiar faces, we're hoping each volunteer can commit to at least 4 of the 5 classes.

We are in need of volunteers right away, so please don't wait! Giving just one hour on a Thursday evening will make a real difference.

Sign up here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfEij2dBzHiRi5jeI_Xht2essU9yma3e3KWCejbiIKCHEkngg/viewform?usp=header

Spots are limited, and we'd love to have you in the kitchen with us! If you have any questions, please reach out to us.

Thank you for helping make this class a success. We can't wait to cook with you!

What a day at the 2026 Cape Fear Buddy Walk! 💙

This past Saturday at Legion Stadium, our community came together to walk, celebrate, and show up for our Coastal Buds. The smiles, the energy, and the support were everything. 📸

A huge THANK YOU to our walkers, speakers, sponsors, vendors, and volunteers who made it such a special morning. We couldn't do it without you!
