We are grateful for our amazing community, what an incredible turnout! On behalf of the Wilmington classic, we would like to thank our volunteers, raffle donors, and the Skating Club of Wilmington for their continued partnership. With your help the Wilmington Classic raised $5,120 for The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation with 531 people in attendance. We could not have done it without you all!

🏒 Wilmington’s Finest Ice Hockey Game 🏒
Come out for an exciting night of community spirit, friendly competition, and giving back! The Wilmington Fire Department and Wilmington Police Department will face off in an epic hockey matchup — all to support a great cause.

The Wilmington Fire Department Explorers will kick off their 2025-2026 session on Saturday September 20, 2025 at 9 am, Fire Headquarters, 22 South Heald Street. If you are between the ages of 14-20 and are interested in learning about what it's like to be a firefighter or EMT; come to our first meeting to learn what it's all about. Meet the post staff as well as some current Explorers. Meetings are held typically every other Saturday during the school year from 9 am to 11 am. If you are under 18, a parent must also accompany you to sign release forms.
