Saturday, September 19: Character Design Illustration for Teens

Inspired by the artwork of Tim Burton, students ages 12–17 will explore proportion, value, ink, expression, narrative, and character design before creating an original character of their own.

Sunday, September 20: Stained Glass Rose

Learn the Tiffany Style of stained glass as you foil and solder a beautiful pre-cut glass rose. All materials are provided and beginners are welcome!

Part art night, part puzzle, part w**e night. 🍷🌸

Join us September 18 for Floral Puzzle Crafting and W**e, a relaxed community art experience led by artist-musician Sharon Bousquet.

You'll collage beautiful floral papers onto your own 7×7-inch wooden puzzle piece. Each creation can stand alone — or connect with the others to become part of a larger collaborative artwork.

No art experience needed. All materials are provided, and your first glass of w**e is included. Non-alcoholic options will also be available.

Jester Artspace members are invited to submit work for CONNECTED: 2026 Member Exhibition, opening this November.

Our member exhibition is an opportunity to share your work, connect with fellow artists and be part of the creative community that makes Jester what it is.

Applications are open NOW through September 20.

Have you seen Nature in Miniature yet?

Now on view at Jester Artspace, this exhibition features photography and mixed-media works created by the young artists of Four Youth.

Students looked closely at the plants, insects, textures, colors and patterns around them, transforming their discoveries into small-scale works celebrating the incredible details that are so easy to overlook.

Come see the world through their eyes. 📷🌿

Never tried Gelli printing? That's part of the fun. 🎨

Gelli Printmaking is a playful form of monoprinting that uses a soft, reusable printing plate to layer paint, textures, stencils, plants, found objects and more.

The result? Colorful, one-of-a-kind prints that are just as much about experimenting as they are about the finished piece.

Join us this Saturday to learn the process, play with color and texture, and see what happens when you let go of trying to make everything “perfect.”

There’s still time to pick up a paintbrush! 🎨

This four-week class with Delaware watercolor artist Karen Berstler Art Studios is designed specifically for beginners — no previous watercolor experience necessary.

Learn flat and gradient washes, wet-in-wet and dry brush techniques, glazing, color mixing, and how to bring those skills together in your own paintings.

Classes meet August 25, September 1, 8 & 15 from 6:30–8:30 PM.
