DWELL: LIVING UNDER GOD’S COVERING

DAY 6 — RECAP: LIVE UNDER HIS COVERING

Memory Scripture:
“He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.” Psalm 91:4, KJV

This week, we practiced dwelling in God’s presence, declaring our trust, releasing fear’s influence, depending on His care, and calling on Him in trouble.

Keep building these rhythms. Psalm 91 gives us language for trusting God through the realities of life. Choose the principle you most need today and put it into practice.

Prayer:
Father, make these truths part of our daily lives. Teach us to remain close, trust deeply, walk wisely, and call on You freely. Let Your faithfulness shape our response to every season. Amen.

DAY 5 — CALL ON HIM IN TROUBLE

Memory Scripture:
“He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.”
Psalm 91:15, KJV

Psalm 91 includes this assurance: “I will be with him in trouble.” Difficulty does not mean God has abandoned you.

Bring Him the honest prayer, the unanswered question, and the burden you cannot carry alone. His presence gives us strength while we wait for His help. Today, speak openly to God about what hurts and ask Him to guide your next step.

Short Prayer:
Father, meet us in our trouble. Help us recognize Your presence, receive Your strength, and trust Your answer and timing. Amen.

DAY 4 — TRUST HIS FAITHFUL CARE

Memory Scripture:
“For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” Psalm 91:11, KJV

God’s care extends beyond what we can recognize or control. We can entrust our lives and loved ones to Him while practicing wisdom in our everyday choices.

His promises invite confidence, never carelessness. Today, pray over your family, your responsibilities, and your travels. Then walk attentively, gratefully, and with trust in His care.

Short Prayer:
Lord, watch over us and those we love. Guide our decisions, protect our steps, and help us trust Your care beyond what our eyes can see. Amen.

DAY 3 — RELEASE THE REIGN OF FEAR

Memory Scripture:
“Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day.” — Psalm 91:5, KJV

Fear can speak loudly in the dark and follow us into the day. Psalm 91 directs our attention toward God’s faithfulness when threats feel close.

Feeling afraid does not mean you have failed at faith. Bring that fear to God, remember His truth, and take the next wise step. Today, name one fear and surrender its influence over your decisions.

Short Prayer:
Father, calm our anxious thoughts. Give us courage to move wisely and faithfully without allowing fear to govern our lives. Amen.

DWELL: LIVING UNDER GOD’S COVERING

DAY 2 — DECLARE WHO YOU TRUST

Memory Scripture:
“I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” — Psalm 91:2, KJV

The psalmist makes trust personal: “my refuge,” “my fortress,” “my God.” Faith moves from knowing about God to placing our confidence in Him.

You can acknowledge uncertainty and still declare who holds your trust. Today, speak this truth over the situation weighing on you: “God, You are my refuge. In You I will trust.”

Prayer:
Lord, anchor our confidence in Your character. Help our words express faith in You, even when we cannot see how things will unfold. Amen.

DWELL: LIVING UNDER GOD’S COVERING

DAY 1 — MAKE GOD YOUR DWELLING PLACE

Memory Scripture:
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” — Psalm 91:1, KJV

Dwelling means remaining. God invites us into a relationship that extends beyond emergencies, Sunday services, and occasional prayers. His presence can shape how we work, respond, rest, and lead our families.

Today, choose one ordinary moment to pause and acknowledge Him. Let connection become a rhythm.

Prayer:
Father, teach us to dwell in Your presence. Help us make room for You throughout our day and carry Your peace into every responsibility. Amen.

MAKE ROOM FOR THE NEW

📖 Isaiah 43:18–19
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

Sometimes we become so focused on what ended, what disappointed us, or how God moved before that we overlook what He is doing now.

You can honor yesterday without dwelling there. Carry the lessons forward, release the need for everything to look familiar, and ask God to help you recognize His work in this season.

The wilderness doesn’t limit His ability to make a way. Dry ground doesn’t prevent Him from bringing new life.

Today, pray: “Lord, open my eyes to what You are doing, and give me courage to respond.”

REST IN THE STORM

“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety.” — Psalm 4:8, NIV

Some storms keep raging long after you’ve prayed. The questions remain, the pressure feels real, and the outcome is still unclear.

Even there, you can rest. You don’t have to solve everything tonight to trust God with what comes next.

Take a breath. Release what you cannot control. Let His presence quiet your heart while you wait.

The storm may interrupt your plans, but it doesn’t have to steal your rest.

THIS WEEK YOU STICK TO IT

DAY 5 — STICK TO IT

Prayer is connection. Some days it will be long. Some days it may only be a few honest sentences. But when life changes, answers delay, or feelings fluctuate…stay connected.

ACTION: Establish your prayer commitment for the next seven days: when you’ll pray, where prayer naturally fits throughout your day, and what you will keep bringing before God.

FACE → ADJUST → PERSIST → ALIGN → STICK

THIS WEEK YOU STICK TO IT

DAY 4 — ALIGN BEFORE YOU ASK

Effective prayer isn’t about finding stronger words. It’s about bringing our desires, motives, and requests into alignment with God’s truth and will.

ACTION: Take one major prayer request and place it beside Scripture. Ask, “Does what I’m asking agree with what God has revealed?”
