For over 30 years, the Landfall Foundation has been making a meaningful difference in our community by providing grants to local nonprofit organizations and schools. This year, The Sister Isaac Center was honored to be among the recipients of a generous grant award. This grant will support our Feed Our Neighbors initiative, helping us provide essential sources of protein to our guests.
Mary Levesque, our Grant Coordinator was thrilled to receive this award from Stacy Geist, Landfall Foundation Grants Co-Chair.

We are deeply grateful to the Landfall Foundation for investing in our mission and helping us care for our neighbors in need. The work we do would not be possible without the generosity and support of community partners like Landfall.

Masses at the Basilica of St. Mary are on Saturday at 5:30pm and 7pm (Spanish) and Sunday Masses are at 7am, 8:30am, 11am, and 1pm (Spanish). Mass is approx. one hour--Open Houses will start immediately following each mass. Enter on the 4th Street side of the Tileston Building, 412 Ann Street.

We have been the fortunate recipients of several generous grants from the Residents of Old Wilmington (ROW), and their support has made a meaningful difference to The Sister Isaac Center. In particular, their grants have often helped us keep our food pantry stocked and ensure that we have food available for our neighbors in need.

The event that helps fund the many grants ROW provides to area nonprofits is largely supported by their popular Back Door Kitchen Tour. Having had the pleasure of participating in the tour several times, I can tell you it is a wonderful way to spend a Fall Saturday!

The tour offers a rare opportunity to step behind the doors of eight stunning historic homes in downtown Wilmington. It is a wonderful combination of history, architecture and beautiful homes—all while supporting an organization that gives back so generously to our local community.

The tour is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 10am - 4pm
