We were chosen as a service project partner for Venture Church's Serve Together Sunday. Volunteers helped clean and organize our play room in the day center and tackled various property beautification projects at our shelter. Thank you Venture Church for supporting our community! 💕

Christian Church of Wilmington NC shout out! Not only do they help us four weeks a year for our emergency shelter dinner service, they also provide financial support. We were selected to receive proceeds from the church's community yard sale. Thank you First Christian! 💕

To protect the privacy of the families staying in our shelter, we’re only sharing a few quiet snapshots from behind the scenes of our Family Photo Shoot. But trust us when we say there were plenty of smiles, laughter, and a few tissues involved.

Seeing families laugh, smile, and capture memories together was incredibly special.

🌟Intern appreciation post!

Sending a big thank you to our incredible intern Autumn! Autumn has been with us since August and has made a true impact to our organization. We thank her for her dedication to supporting our families and our mission.

This May she will graduate from with her Bachelor’s in Social Work and continue on to pursue her Master’s—an incredible milestone and just the beginning of what we know will be a meaningful career serving others.
