Time to Get in the Fight Judges 7:3-8
It doesn’t matter how big the dog is, what matters is the fight in the dog. Many people in leadership are always asking for more people and money. We need to examine the Gideon’s leadership and what God taught him.

Gideon felt inadequate, insecure, and his plan showed he lacked value in himself. Many of us can relate to him. Gideon with all of his hang ups and issues, still had a heart for God. When we have so many issues holding us back in our minds; God needs to send us a message. God may send a prophet (maybe even someone without the gift) to reveal, that what is in you must manifest. What will you do when you hear what God’s wants you to do?

The course of Gideon’s life changed with a word. It can be the same for you. Once a word goes into your heart, it affects everything when you apply faith and grace through love on it. It will bring out the fight in you.

Gideon has thirty two thousand men, but they all did not have the word in them. Sone of the were the wayside people that didn’t have any root in themselves. God told Gideon to send them home. Not everyone is willing to go down the dark alley of life. They can “talk the talk” but they can’t “walk the walk” of the Warrior that puts their total trust in the Lord. So twenty-two thousand men go home.

God told Gideon that he still had too many soldiers to go war. God told Gideon to take them down to the water and watch the how each soldier drank water to determine who should be sent them home next.

The ones that go down and put their face in the water send home. The ones that put water in their hand send home. The ones the put their face in the water and saw the reflection of themselves send home. Many people in leadership will see themselves doing, and saying things, so they can get the credit or reward for their labor.

But the ones that put the water in their hand and licked the water like a dog had a different mindset. They were focused on the assignment. They were determined to free the nation of Israel from bo***ge. They had a fight in them that couldn’t be stopped. Excuse my expression it is the dog in them. The fight in them is a determination that only results in victory in the end.
Will you be the one with the fight for only victory within you?

Lord, I position myself to stay focused on the assignment and victory is my only option. My trust is in You and I am the one with the fight in me.

Lord it is not my bark that the devil fears but it is my mouth connected to my heart, that he must fear. My mouth releases the abundance that decrees a thing, so it can be established. My mouth has the power of death and life in it. My lips have praise on them for You. It is my bite and I won’t let go. It is victory that is worth the fight.

He is the God of the Breakthrough.
We need stop looking at our circumstances like they have power over us. We serve the God of the Breakthrough.

There has never seen an issue that His love cannot overcome.
He is God of the Breakthrough.

There has never been a financial crisis that He didn’t make away out of. He is the God of the Breakthrough.

There has never been a doctor’s report that He can’t turn around. He is the God of the Breakthrough.

There has been a toxic relationships that He can’t handle.
He is the God of the Breakthrough.
He brings His peace when chaos is present because the God of the Breakthrough will keep me in His perfect peace.

Lord, I make a commitment not to waiver when pressure comes, because I serve the God of the Breakthrough.

Lord, I will stand ready to fight, because I am assured that the God of the Breakthrough will fight for me.

Lord, I embrace the assignment given to me, because the God of the Breakthrough has anointed and appointed this assignment to be fulfilled through me.

Lord, I am set to defend the gospel, because the God of the Breakthrough has made me not ashamed.

Lord, I will renew my mind to Your way, truth, light and life, because it is Your desire for me to have Your mind. I must have the mind of the God of the Breakthrough.

Lord all drama is subject to Your name and power because You are the God of the Breakthrough.

Lord even when my flesh takes me down the wrong path and I sin against Your Word, You are still the God of the Breakthrough and forgive me.

Lord, I must give You praise for all You have done and will do because You are the God of the Breakthrough.

Lord, You only ask for me to be a “yielded vessel” willing to follow Your Word.

I will, I shall, I must follow Your Word because You are the God of the Breakthrough.

Lord, I yield my heart, mind, will, and emotions, because I will serve the God of the Breakthrough for the rest of my life.

Warfare of Life.
In Genesis 32:24 -32 Jacob is a man that faces interior and exterior struggles at the same time. Many of us can relate with Jacob. He is facing going back to his home where he had tricked Esau out of his birthright. Worked for bigger ConMan, in Laban for his wives and children. Finally God reveals the solution to the problem and Jacob is on his way back to his homeland.

When you think you are free from the issues exterior God reveals the that you need some interior changes. I hear you say I just overcome this and that all exterior issues with the level of faith, grace, wisdom to defeat or overcome, and now this. Jacob is left alone and a man appears. This man starts wrestling with him. A interior struggle takes place. Lord there is nothing wrong with me. Yes there is, you can’t overcome the next exterior issue without this interior change. Your level in God must increase to handle what is next.

Your strength to overcome this interior man requires a level of power you have not access yet (Hosea 12:3,4). We must stay in the presence of God until you are changed. How do you know you are changed? Jacob name is change. His walk is different. With other things change. We start having mercy on people you would not had mercy on. You forgive people that in time place you would have not forgive them. Your passion for things has changed. You see things differently. Your tone of your voice has changed. Your thinking about things differently. You stop trying to do it all by yourself and learn how trust the people around you. Tears are flowing down your face and there is not problem exterior.

Jacob wrestled until the break of day. The wrestling match some of us are facing is longer than three rounds.

Lord teach us how to get out of Your way so we can walk into all You have for us. The interior fight will continue until you change. The interior pain of change is self inflicted. God requires change to grow and dominate territories and you fighting change. Stop and yield to God’s will. God had to change Jacob’s walk because he would always fall back on his tricker conniving ways. In our case we go back to what we can control and handle in our mental capacity. God demands more from you and you are willing to settle for level that you have out grown. Quit being the man playing in the sand box. God demand change to dominate.

Lord teach me how to change my walk in You. Teach me how to walk in your foot prints (Psalm 25:12-22). God has to change Jacob’s name from that supplants, undermines; the heel. To Israel who prevails with God. God has already empowered you but you could not handle the power until you change (2 Corinthians 4:1-7).

Where God needed Jacob to be interiorly required the wrestling. What is happening to you interiorly is for the next level of greatness.

Lord change my walk to embrace Your will for me.

Lord change my talk to embrace Your authority in me.

Lord change my heart to love like You.

Lord change my sight to see answers and not always the problem.

Lord change my thinking to have Your mind about matters. The interior struggles come to change the image of how you see God. How you see God will be how you serve God. The interior struggles come how you see yourself what you give God and others. The interior struggles come to teach you how to balance what others think about you and what you think about yourself. Please stop saying you don’t care. All people like need affirmation, acknowledgement and celebration.

Lord teach me to balance the interior struggles for the elevation for exterior issue coming that You want me to dominate. Now walk like Israel because Jacob is no more.

We cry Abba
Romans 8:12-17; Galatians 4:5-7
The Apostle Paul uses the word Abba which means father in Aramaic. When we mix the Greek ho pater as an address to God; you come away with a deeper meaning than just father. He is our Abba. When we call God Abba that declaration goes further than our relationship with our natural father. He is the deepest manifestation of father. He is complete. He is our Abba. When we look at Matthew 6:9-13 Our Father reveals that Jesus was not calling on His Father on His behalf. Jesus was crying out for us all Our Abba. Our life giver. Our source of all needs.

Our Father let Your kingdom come to earth the same way Your kingdom operates in Heaven. He is the source of everything in heaven and in the earth. Our ABBA cry is for you to do Your will through us. Our ABBA cry gives us our daily bread, not for food only, but He feed us His ways, ABBA. Our cry is ABBA forgive our debts. Our ABBA cry leads us and delivers us from us.
Our ABBA cry declares God has the kingdom, the power, and the glory. Our ABBA cry frees us from fear. Fear is the absence of faith and the lost of identity. When a person is in fear; faith is not present. The second thing is you know who you are and who is connected to you.

Fear cripples your ABBA cry, because it tells you He doesn’t hear you, when the cry of ABBA comes out of the heart. The ABBA cry doesn’t come from your mouth only, it is deeply rooted in your heart. Hannah cried ABBA cry in 1 Samuel 1:9-20. Her heart prayed but her mouth did not move. An ABBA cry can’t be put in a religious format like Eli tried to do. Your ABBA cry goes beyond, just hearing your words.
The ABBA cry knows that your Father hears you.
The ABBA cry is the chains falling off.
The ABBA cry is warm tears running down your face as you layout before Him.

The ABBA cry is the transformation that many of your family and friends in Christ will never understand because of the transformation in your life.
The ABBA cry makes you walk by faith and stand when others are running from the problem.
The ABBA cry causes you to never question whether He hears you. The ABBA cry makes you sing in prison. When you don’t escape.
The ABBA cry makes you go into a fiery furnace.
The ABBA cry makes you sleep with lions. The ABBA cry makes you willing to sacrifice your son knowing ABBA will raise him up from the ashes.

ABBA my heart is fixed on You.
ABBA You are my life giver.
ABBA my identity comes from you and I cry who ABBA is to me.
ABBA my cry has freed me from depression because I am His but He is my ABBA.
ABBA my cry has freed me from everything because I belong to You.

I will remind the devil, others and myself I belong to ABBA. He is my ABBA and He will never turn His back on me. I cry ABBA
