Virgin Islands Hurricane Relief Fund

Relief for the people of the US and British Virgin Islands whos lives were affected by Hurricane Irma. Many families have literally lost everything.

On 9/6/17, Hurricane Irma - one of the strongest storms ever recorded, utterly battered the US & the British Virgin Islands and left them devastated. As a result, many people have been left without housing, clean water, food and medication. Damage to infrastructure, airports & the only hospital on St. Thomas has been damaged. Communication is limited and electrical systems are down with no estima

te on when they will be restored. The immense destruction leaves the people in the VI with an urgent need of assistance. In the U.S.V.I. the Federal Government’s response has been impressive, however, even with such extensive efforts we aim to address with this initiative, much needed items which they do not deliver, such as, hand pumps for water from cisterns, water purification kits, camping stoves, solar-powered lamps, mosquito nets and insect repellents, first aid kits, tire repair kits, etc. Please help us to support the emergency and reconstruction efforts in the Virgin Islands today, donations of all sizes are welcome. All staff of the VI Hurricane Relief Fund are working pro-bono, therefore 100% of the donated funds will be used for relief efforts. (This does not include professional staff on the Islands who engage in transport of material, debris removal, food distribution, medical care, rehabilitation, infrastructure and security, etc.)
