Each week, roughly 75 people turn to our Help Hub after an unexpected hardship forces an impossible choice: pay rent, buy medicine, or put food on the table.

When money is tight, feeding every member of the family, including the furry ones, can be overwhelming. Because of the generosity of Heidi’s Hope, many of our clients leave Help Hub able to mark dog food off their grocery list.

As Alyssa Milano said, “Animals are one of the most beautiful gifts we have.” Thank you, Heidi’s Hope, for helping us keep those precious gifts fed, healthy, and loved! 🐾❤️

Join a growing network of providers committed to building a common language for resilience and healing. Participants will receive Community Resiliency Model (CRM) training and become part of a **Resilient Learning Community**—a community of practice focused on strengthening provider well-being, advancing organizational resilience, and working together to create a more resilient community.

✨ This professional development opportunity is **offered at no cost to providers thanks to support from The Endowment.**

📅 **Community Resiliency Model (CRM) Training**
• First Wednesday of each month, choose the month that works best for you
• August–December
• 12:00–4:00 p.m.

📅 **Resilient Learning Community (Community of Practice)**
• First Wednesday of each month for 8 weeks

Over the past 4 years our Help Hub has supported 700+ NHC residents in sober living through rental aid, healthcare navigation, bus passes, and job referrals.

Today, we have incredible news to share! Help Hub has been awarded a $50,000 grant from the New Hanover County ABC Board!

This support allows us to provide essential services and support more individuals on their path to recovery, stability, and long-term success.

Thank you to the ABC Board for investing in a stronger community!

Burnout isn't sustainable. Healthy leadership comes from a place of abundance.

Leading from Abundance (LFA) is a joint effort with Resiliency Task Force New Hanover County to help nonprofit leaders shift from survival mode to active resilience.

LFA's last 90-min session was co-led by our Outreach Coordinator Christy Aley (6-yr CRM Trainer) & Tanya Jordan, NHCRTF's new Programming & Training Coordinator. Tanya's background as a school counseling & social work supervisor is invaluable for teaching "Help Now!" skills to quickly get back into the resilience zone.

Join us this Thursday, July 23 at 10am to practice the tools necessary to lead with a full heart.
