Last week we had the honor of attending the Re-Entry Delaware Celebrity Classic at DuPont Country Club.

Re-Entry Delaware’s goal is to empower and support both veterans and others who were formerly incarcerated, by supporting programs that assist in furthering their education, employment, career development and housing status.

It was a HOT one!🔥☀️ But we got to spend the day surrounded by great people on a beautiful course, supporting a more than worthy cause. Proud to call the hardworking crew at Re-Entry Delaware a community partner. 💪🏼

According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, 71% of women in domestic violence shelters report their abuser threatened or injured a pet as a means of control.

👉🏼 Nationally, only 19% of domestic violence shelters accept pets which means that many people choose to stay in abusive situations rather than leave their pets behind.

🐾 In 2019, Purina and RedRover partnered to launch the to increase the number of pet-friendly domestic violence shelters nationwide.

We were honored to be there recently as Kenny Family Stores presented them with a $10,000 donation to help support their mission. 💜🐶🐱

Throughout the journey of motherhood there will be many seasons. (As any mother will tell you, as soon as you think you’ve got the hang of it, something comes along and changes things up. 😉)

But the one constant which remains throughout them all is a mother’s love, strength and determination, something we’ve been blessed to witness in the women we work with every day.

Wherever season of motherhood you find yourself in this year, we see you. Nobody said it would be easy, just that it would be worth it.
