TONIGHT at 6pm, the Public Service Commission will be accepting public comments regarding Delmarva Power’s request for rate hikes and changes to their tariff. We need people to show up and say NO to these repeated rate hikes that prioritize profit over people and YES to the creation of the Low Income Utility Rate that we achieved through legislation in 2025. Harrington City Council voted NO on an ordinance that would make data centers a conditional use!! They cited technical errors in the ordinance and one member shared that data centers are a use not comparable with the city.

Phenomenal job by the citizens of Harrington coming out and standing strong. This is what Kent County is all about!!!-
