DNREC was right to deny Project Washington based on the pollution from 516 backup generators. It's sad that the company refuses to find a better path and instead is choosing to use YOUR tax dollars to fight the state.

Pollution from Virginia's many data centers could cause respiratory symptoms and deaths in the region, analysis of state permits and corporate disclosures shows.

Join us for a picnic at 1pm on Saturday, June 13th at Cape Henlopen State Park to celebrate Global Wind Day! This wind themed event will have fun and engaging opportunities to learn about offshore wind and let your curiosity blow you away. We will have small wind turbine building kits, fun activities, kite flying, and plenty of opportunities to learn more about offshore wind.

Ticket prices cover food and an offshore wind themed t-shirt. Park entry is $5 for Delaware registered vehicles and $10 for Out of State, this cost is not included in the ticket price and can be paid at the park entrance via cash or card.
