It takes teamwork to make the dream work, and we're grateful for all the members of our ministry team this year. 8/2 we had our 3rd quarter ministry team meeting and shared a time of prayer, encouragement and fellowship together as we covered some ministry updates and heard from team members hosting Journey to Heal groups this Fall!

We've done life together with many of our team members for several years, through the good and not so great seasons of their lives. It's a joy to add new members each year and to work together to meet survivors with the care their seeking and to help them find hope and healing in Christ through our Journey to Heal program!

Hello friends, Crystal here… I want to encourage you to say yes to God. Whatever He is asking of you, just say yes. ✨

Ten years ago I said, “Yes” to the publication of my heart and a prayer for women like me to find hope in Christ and healing from the ravages of childhood sexual abuse.

When I began writing this book 15+ years ago, my prayer was if it could help just one woman it would be worth it.

I could never have imagined what God would do with my “Yes.” A decade later, and many other people who came alongside and who also said “Yes”, and I am blown away.

God has used this book, this “Yes”, to help tens of thousands of people around the world.

This November 14th my team and I will be celebrating a decade of healing in an evening of hope at our Journey to Heal Ministries Celebration Dinner. If you have been a part of our story in any way, or impacted by Journey to Heal, I hope you save the date to join us!

🌍✨ We’re excited to highlight one of our amazing missionary partners in Uganda! Through the generosity of another one of our amazing partners, and their close collaboration with our publisher, they recently received 400 copies of Journey To Heal to empower their community with hope and healing.

This is a huge answer to prayer!

They’ve already begun to distribute several copies among local educators and missionaries who will be using our study to help care for women and young people who have experienced abuse.

We are beyond excited for what God is doing with Journey to Heal, and praying for our partners in this meaningful work.

Together, we are making a significant impact in the lives of many!

We love when community comes together to support women in healing and hope! Our Founder, Crystal Sutherland, is here with Connecting Faith Driven Leaders founder Emily Vermeer and One Christian Network ONE Christian Network ILM Founder Emma Baltezore (from left to right).

Emily and her team came out to volunteer at the race this year and Emma is a returning sponsor! With their support we had another sucessful Hope Run event.

We are so grateful for our Board of Directors and their committment to our misison to help women find hope and healing from past abuse, through Jesus Christ.

Since our 2nd quarter meeting in June, they've begun collaborating to create a special evening to celebrate ten years of hope and impact through Journey to Heal.

It takes a village to do the work we do, and we are so grateful for the men and women who have linked arms together to help build this ministry over the past decade!

This month at Journey to Heal Ministries we are celebrating our 8th year as a 501(c)3 nonprofit, and ten years since the release of our Founder’s book and the basis of our ministry: Journey to Heal. ❤️

To celebrate ten years of God’s faithfulness and the countless people who have supported our mission, we’re planning a special celebration taking place the evening of November 14th at Pine Valley Country Club!!
