☀️ No shade to the weatherman, but we're staying inside this week. ☀️

This Wednesday's West Side Farmers Market is ❌ CANCELLED ❌ due to the extreme heat. Keeping our vendors, volunteers, and neighbors safe always comes first.

💧 Stay cool and hydrated like our friends Icy and the City Pride De team
🏠 Check on neighbors, especially seniors
🐾 Keep pets inside and paws off hot pavement

We'll be back on July 22nd at Cool Spring Park from 3:30 to 6:30 PM.

Stay safe, neighbors! 💚

Pride in 1969 was a protest. Pride in 2026 is both a celebration and a continued call for equality. We honor those who stood up for their rights at Stonewall and recognize the progress that's been made, while remembering that many people around the world still face discrimination. Pride is about dignity, respect, community, and the belief that everyone deserves to live authentically and safely. 🌈

Where is our freedom? The LGBTQIA+ community has been fighting for equality, dignity, and basic human rights for decades. Where are the people who stand up for everyone—not just some of us? True justice means no one is left behind. Equality should belong to all, not only to those whose voices are already being heard.

An amendment looking to enshrine the right to marry in Delaware's constitution failed on the House floor June 23. See link below ⬇️
