Dear New Hanover County Middle School Parents,
The Mt. Calvary Center for Leadership Development V.I.C. Academy offers a brand new free program for your children. Register your middle schooler today in our inaugural oratory academy. Within six weeks, your child will be more efficient in 1) content development (identifying the objective, introduction/conclusion, etc.) 2) delivery (tone, articulation, rhythm, pause, etc.) 3) body language (hand gestures, eye contact, etc.) 4) stage presence (attire, props, mobility, etc.) 5) charisma, and 5) memorization.
During the last week of our academy, students will compete in an oratorical competition, with the winner receiving a substantial prize.
Public speaking is one of the most important skills to master for boosting self-confidence and personal and professional development.
Registration is extremely limited and will be filled quickly.
