🔥🐍📸🔥ATTENTION friends of Marshall Morgan and SUPPORTERS of The Marshall Morgan Project:

Did Marshall ever take a picture of you?

This is your chance to participate in a historical event and reason chance to visit with old friends -

This is an afternoon commitment, no more, no less. But if you can, let’s make a weekend out of it and reconnect with old friends. A reason to have a reunion and reminisce about simpler times. Going through these pictures is like panning for gold. 👑

We are going to hopefully sort the final 400,000 pictures. We need everyone’s help. The plan is to gather 100+ people at 🏝️the Holiday Inn Lumina at Wrightsville Beach on November 8 from 11:45 to 3.

We need 20 table captains. Each captain will be responsible for
1) helping recruit people for their table-round tables-5-6 per table
2) insure the bags are labeled properly for scanning.

Each participant will be responsible for 1)separating pictures that have been in baggies-some up to 35 years.
2) setting aside any doubles.
3) boxing up the bags of pictures so I can deliver them to the group that’s scanning them

📸I will share the video on how to sort them so everyone can be prepared the day of🔥

This is a chance to have mini reunions with your old friends. I was hoping there would be little reunions for different fraternities, sororities, Beach friends, Downtown friends, old restaurant/bar employees and friends like Wally’s, Clarence Fosters, Oceanic, Red Dogs, Mad Monk, Fibbers, The Whiskey, Rhino, Sidebar etc.

We need lots of help to push this through.
If you can help please comment here and sign up with the link, you can message me directly with any questions. Let me know if you would like To be a table, captain, and recruit your crew to help.
📸Please share this with everyone and share it on any social media you use. Please also tag me and or the Marshall Morgan project page.

Make some effort to recruit old friends.🔥

I need your help. We’re looking for 20 Table Captains—20 people who are willing to lead a table and recruit five friends to join them. Together, we’ll bring 100 people together to preserve a piece of our history.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
📸📸🐍🐍📸📸🐍🐍The next “Big Picture Sort!” 🐍📸🐍is all set for Sunday November 8th 11:45-3 pm
at the Holiday Inn Lumina at Wrightsville Beach.
Our goal is to gather 100 volunteers to help sort through the final 250,000 photographs from the Marshall Morgan Collection.
This is about more than organizing pictures—it’s about preserving a visual history that belongs to all of us. Every photograph tells a story, and together we’re ensuring those stories aren’t lost.
We’re asking for 20 Table Captains who will each recruit five volunteers so we can finish this incredible project. If everyone steps up, this could be our final Big Picture Sort!
A huge thank you to everyone who has participated in the first two events. Because of your hard work, we’ve made tremendous progress. There are still some early ’90s photos to sort, along with many from the late ’90s and early 2000s.
If you’d like to be a Table Captain, please let me know. We’d love to have you be part of something that will preserve this remarkable collection for generations to come.
Please share this post and help us make history—together. 📸🐍🔥

Hello friends of Marshall Morgan📸
A couple of updates and request.🐍

1. I need help managing the website. You don’t have to be a developer but knowledgeable enough to know how to work between SmugMug and the website. Ideally, you would be able to meet with Marshall once or twice a month and upload the pictures he takes around town. Probably about 30 minutes to an hour a month. I could probably pay you something for your time but best case it would be a volunteer. This could be multiple people …. one would need to be in Wilmington.

2. We need to identify one or two people who are good at social media and promotions. As we get closer to the documentary premier, I would like to share pictures and clips of the documentary and promote it the best we can on all social media platforms

3. We need to form a committee to help with the remaining pictures to sort and digitized. Ideally one or two people from every year left…to help me recruit people from those years. As those of you know who have helped ….the more we have the easier and more fun it is.

We still have 400,000 to 500,000 pictures left to sort through and scan. Late 90’s to early 2000 and 1000s of negatives from the 80’s. We will have another big event sometime in the fall when my world isnt as busy and event rooms are cheaper 😊😃

IF YOU’RE CAPABLE TO SERVE IN ANY CAPACITY, PLEASE COMMENT HERE OR MESSAGE ME.
