💜 Walking With Purpose, Standing in Support! 💜
Yesterday, members of the Philly Alumni Chapter proudly participated in the Lupus Walk at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, joining hundreds of individuals walking in honor of those living with lupus and in remembrance of those we’ve lost.
Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that disproportionately affects women, particularly Black women, who are 2–3 times more likely to develop lupus than other races.
It was truly an honor to stand alongside so many individuals, families, and supporters united in raising awareness, advancing research, and strengthening the community of those impacted by this disease.
For our chapter, service goes beyond simply showing up. It’s about standing together, supporting meaningful causes, and making a difference, one step at a time! 💜
Together, we walk for awareness and for hope!
